ABOUT ME

I'm pretty quiet although I love meeting new people and having adventures. I'm pretty easy going and always up for trying and learning new things. I also love cooking! I graduated from University a year and a bit ago with a degree in environmental sciences and studies and will probably go back to school for more at some point. I've been traveling around for the past while and have got the travel bug for more! I also love love love animals and am interested in farming. Also I love bright colors and to have a good laugh. In cities, I quite like seeing live music of all sorts, art galleries and museums, architecture, and lively cafes and bars. But usually I'd rather be in the bush!

Interests

Spending time outside doing activities and just hanging out. Camping, hiking, cycling, kayaking, all that jazz. I also play music and like to draw, paint, cook and do crafts, especially sewing. I also love trying new things! Also, GAMES: catan, cribbage, backgammon, magic cards, Carcassonne, any card game, dice, love playing games.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love kids movies (Alice in wonderland is my favorite) old and new (usually animated), and I think comedy is generally my favorite genre of movies and TV series.
I like science fiction books and also other books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitchhiked from Keremeos, British Columbia to St. John's, Newfoundland over the course of two weeks or so.

Teach, Learn, Share

As I've already mentioned a couple times I like cooking and love having communal meals and cooking with others.
I like learning about what other people do with their lives. I am also particularly interested in learning how to make things from stone carving to sewing to building. I also loooooove sharing music with people.
I can teach you some chords on the guitar, how to cook one of my favorite meals, how to make a bracelet. I can also sew anything you need sewn or teach you how. I would also love to learn and teach any game you are keen to play.
