I have lived in places like New Zealand and Argentina. It would be my 4th time in the US.
I'm going to visit a couple of universities I'm applying to (for a PhD degree in Environmental Sciences) around the NYC area.
I'm currently looking for a couch in NYC or its surroudings for a few days. Five would be great. I'm arriving May 24 and I plan to visit other states before coming back to NYC for my flight back home on early June.

I'm a member since 2009 but I never really used or tried to untill today, so, I'll give it a shot.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Basically, to save money. I'm a studend that is considering to applying for PhD studies in USA, so, I have to save money wherever I can for now.
I got my tickets as a family gift and now I have the opportunity to see it for myself how's it like to attend a Doctoral Program in the US. I'm really looking forward to.
