About Me

I'm a nature loving girl from the Allgäu, the south of Germany. I'm currently on a gap year. I'd love to meet new people while I'm travelling and share experiences and days and nights out!

"Adventures are the best way to learn." And as couchsurfing is the best way to start an andventure, it's my go to platform when it comes to travelling. I've only just started surfing, but it's already sure that I love it!

Right now I am on an Interrail Trip through Western Europe on which my travelmate and me are trying to produce as little trash as possible. We have learned how bad plastic is, so we want to find alternative and reduce our use of plastic products as much as possible.
I'm also going to the United States soon and hope to meet some cool surfers there aswell.
I also have a blog on which I write about my travels and my opinion on a sustainable and environmental friendly lifestyle. Check it out if you want: livewithtass.wordpress.com (unfortunately it's mainly in German, sorry, I'm working on translating parts of it)

I'm not yet hosting because I still live with my parents but I definitely want to as soon as I live in my own place. I'm very excited about finding out where that will be...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love diving deep into new cultures and explore countries from the eyes of their people and not from a tourists view. Therefor it is just perfect to meet people via couchsurfing!

Interests

I don't play any instruments yet but I really plan to start again when I settle in the town I get accepted for university.

Music, Movies, and Books

I admire and love all books by Jojo Moyes, John Green and Antje Babendererde and read a lot by Andreas Eschbach

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've travelled to Cuba and lived with the locals there. I was so amazed of what they made out of their lives on such a small basis!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach German and some English, share my travel experiences and my view on environmental friendly living and travelling.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love to share the experiences I gained while travelling aswell as growing up in the countryside

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Croatia, Cuba, Czech Republic, England, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In
