CURRENT MISSION
To grow a moustache!
ABOUT ME
Easy going person who always try to be happy and do fun things! I just moved back to France after being away for 15 years, to discover what there is to do around my hometown. I have been here 3 years now, where I met my wonderful future husband (getting married this summer) and I now have the most amazing little creature on earth, my daughter Molly.
Like to have fun, do silly things and make the most of every experience!
I like meeting new people from different nationalities (as we all do here!), travelling (that too!), cooking, walks in the countryside, the smell of fresh cut grass, red with white polka dots, dressing up, picnics, cycling (on flat!), red wine, rain when I'm safely inside under a duvet, but do enjoy being outside for big thunderstorm during the summer, looking at the sky and seeing Orion's belt straight away, warm sunny weather, walking on dry crispy leaves, FOOD!!, the colour red, opening my eyes in the morning to a blue sky, seeing people in the street smiling n laughing by themselves, yoga, my family, onion and garlic, strong smell of washing powder on my clothes, coffee, my yellow rain coat, the silliness of my friends, the sound of pebbles when a wave goes back in, when I look at the clock and it's 11:11 or 22:22, smells of the past, parties and moustaches! (yes, I acquired, i dunno how really, this title of "Miss'tache"!) So come and party with me and if you don't have a moustache (man or woman), you'll probably have one at the end of the night!
I don't like narrow minded people, cold weather, stubborn people, mushrooms (generally), the sound and texture of polystyrene, having odd socks, dripping tap, gossips, the lack of respect for local culture by westerners, marmite (the stinky spread), children's snotty noses spread and dry over the cheek, politicians, hate waste, cheesy music, cruelty to animals (even though I'm not a vegetarian), MacDonalds, Tesco, the unfairness of the world, worms, baby pink...
Update: I'm starting to like mushrooms!
New update: I'm loving mushrooms so much now that I eat them everyday!
PHILOSOPHY
Everything happens for a reason!

Music, Movies, and Books
Small budget films, foreign films, French especially! To name a few:
Jean-pierre Jeunet's films (Delicatessen, Amelie, Micmacs, City of lost children)
Klapish (Rien du tout, Chacun cherche son chat, Un air de famille, L'auberge espagnole, Le peril jeune...)
Les bronzés
La cité de la peur
Le père noël est une ordure
and all the films from Kusturica (Time of the Gypsies, black cat white cat, Underground, Life is a miracle)
not that much into american big budget stuff...
but there are a few good ones.
A few more:
The imaginarium of Dr Parnassus
Life is beautiful
Léon
Le grand bleu
Les triplettes de Belleville
Music - like almost everything,French classic and non-classic, ska, reggae, dub, drum'n'bass, gypsy music, hardtek, tekno, meringue, salsa... world music, music that makes you jump or music to chill out when it's time to do so! OOoOh.. I do like accordeon! (you can tell I'm French!)
Books - no a big reader, like books where I can learn things from....oh no wait! I loooove Calvin and Hobbes, but that's more a comic!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Drank a beer while swimming in the Mekong, helped people working in the rice fields in Vietnam, drove a rowing boat at the floating market of Can Tho, organised the Brighton Disharmonic Orchestra, playing the most horrendous music around Brighton to raise money for charity...
The most amazing thing i've seen was a sock inside a dog's poo!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you about autism, cooking, English... not really good at teaching French unfortunately!
