About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy and engage.

ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in North Carolina. I love North Carolina dearly but have decided it is time for a change of scenery for a while. I now live in Philadelphia, PA with my partner Cecilie. I love to cook and am trying to do so as much as I can. Having good music on is pretty essential while I am doing most things around the house. I do not own a car so I bike most everywhere. I volunteer at a community garden in Philadelphia with some great kids and I would love for you to come hang out with us in Philly.

PHILOSOPHY

The weather's fine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm all about helping people find a cheap way to travel and meet people/make connections along the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met some wonderful people thus far through couchsurfing. It is great to take in the culture and experiences of other people you may not have ever met otherwise. I enjoy hosting people and I hope to experience that in return when I set out on my own travels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the summer of 2011, my partner and I did a bicycle tour around the United States. We started in Washington, DC and went through the backcountry, the city, across the Plains, across two Great Lakes (by ferry, we didn't bike on water), and saw the Pacific Ocean. It was an amazing experience and I met so many awesome, generous people along the way.
