ABOUT ME
I spend a lot of time inside of my head and I feel rather comfortable with myself only. However, once I decide to go outside my shell, I'm open to almost any experiences. I like to explore and experience life. I can be introversive at times, but mostly I'm a rather outging person, especially with those I like. I'm a bit of a hippie somewhere deep inside: I don't care about material things much, though some of them are nice to have, it's people and emotions I value the most. I try to follow my heart, but to be ruled by my mind at the same time. I'm not that good at planning, but can do a lot on the spur of the moment, once the inspration comes.
At the moment I don't eat meat, but I'm not intimidated by people doing that in my presence unless they look at me with eyes wide open and ask "Are you a vegeterian?" as if it's equal to being a serial killer:)
Alcoholwise, I may have a drink occasionally, but never insist on anyone doing that "to keep me a company" unless they want to. To be honest, I'm more addicted to chocolate and other sweets than to any other substances;)
PHILOSOPHY
I'm not religous, however, it doesn't prevent me from being a good person and being friends with bothh people from all the confessions and atheists.
I believe in honesty. Whatever we may say, it's not always easy and profitable to be tell the truth al the time in our world and I don't claim that I do, but I strongly believe that if we are honest with each other, it can make the world a litte bit better and people around us happier and less self-conscious.
I also believe in freedom. I may not agree with some people, but I want them to be make their own choices and be allowed to follow their way for as long as it doesn't harm others. I want all the people to the freedom to be who they really are, even if it contradicts the commonly-accepted public opinion.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm quite new here, but a lot of my European friends use it and the their feedback is usually very positive. I'm absolutelly open to hosting people once I have an appartment of my own, but most of the time I have to share it with someone, so I may not be always able to host you, as it first should be agreed with my flatmate. I'm really sorry for that.
And, of course, I'm absolutelly grateful to people who will agree to host me. It's not that much a money issue (though I don't have much money to spare, that's also true), but mostly the matter of intercultural experience which is a great thing to have. You never know, how nice people you meet might be. Experiences like this make me believe in humanity more.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
First of all, I've hosted a lot of my friends "before it was cool":) I like showing the places I know, walking, having fun and having long phylosophical tea-talks in the kitchen, when it's dark already. The first unfamiliar people I hosted in Mosow were Katya and Ira who are now travelling Central and South Americas by hitchhiking. It was for a really short time and all of us had to work online a bit, but I really enjoyed exhanging opinions with them and discussing our plans. Partially, I as inspired to go to Colombia by observing how their journey goes on.
Then I hosted a French guy in my hometowm Bryansk, I had more free time and was able to took him for a short tour of the city. Everything was really nice, I couldn't expect more.

I'm proud to be able to contributr to things bigger than my own life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm trying to keep on learning throughout my life and that's the experience you have you lmostly learn from.
