Overview
About Me
I'm a Journalism student living in Medellin, Colombia. I'm 21 years old and I work as a freelance writer and community manager for two different companies. I love reading and writing, I do ballet and it is one of my greatest passions. I love dogs and cats and animals in general but especially those two. My family is the most important thing in my life and I spend as much time with them as I can; the love and support they give me is invaluable to me.
I speak English at a native level and French at an advanced level. I spent a semester in Paris learning French when I was 17 years old and it was amazing. I got the chance to travel around Europe and I learned a lot about different cultures which was incredible. Now I want to explore my own country and continent and learn more about the place where I come from.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I live with my parents and my brother in Medellin, so I can't host anybody at the moment but hopefully someday! I think Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to experience a new city as a traveler, not a tourist (which in my opinion are two very different concepts). That's why I'd like to be hosted by one of you guys sometime, so we can share our cultures and traditions and learn from each other.

Music, Movies, and Books
Fito Paez, Jorge Drexler, Soda Stereo, Little Jesus, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, The Killers, The Lumineers... they're the ones that come to mind right now but there are many many more. I'm big on rock mostly and a little pop and folk.
Ernest Hemingway and Gabriel Garcia Marquez are my favorite authors. I like Spanish and American literature from the early 20th century and of course Latin-American literature.
My favorite movies are Almost Famous and Breakfast at Tiffany's. I love chick flicks and rom-coms. I ADORE Friends, I have legit watched the entire series at least 7 times.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I just recently danced my first ballet solo and I did great! Getting a solo is a pretty big deal in the dance world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm completely in love with my city and my country, and I would love to share a piece of my amazing culture with you -which goes way beyond drug dealing and coffee-. I also love to learn about different cultures and different ways of life, so it would be a nice exchange if you could teach me about your culture as well!
What I Can Share with Hosts
My Colombian cooking skills!! I also have basic knitting skills. I can offer you a good company and I have a lot of stories to tell.
