I am a 20-year-old exchange student from the Russian Federation, and this year I want to travel around the US for as much as possible ☺
I'm a passionate traveler, currently with a degree in Classical Studies in Moscow. Prior to that, I did one year of Economics studies (ecosystems in the financial services industry) and am currently studying theater arts alongside economics and history of the US in Ephraim, Utah.
My hometown is Moscow, I grew up there and I know so much about the culture and non-stereotypical features of Russia. I was born near the Volga River, so I also know some traditional dances — I realize that I am a big city girl but at heart, I am longing to move to water one day.
I worked in education (school, olympiads) back in Russia, so I would love to discuss that too.
It is my dream to visit the Great Lakes and San Francisco Bridge this year :)
I thrive on active sports like mountain skiing and hiking, finding solace in nature's embrace. I want to try surfing one day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In 2023, I was honored to be a finalist in the Year of Exchange in America for Russians program. During my 9-month stay in Utah, I plan to immerse myself in American culture. As a cultural ambassador, I believe in delving deep into the heart of a nation, which is why Couchsurfing appeals to me. It provides a genuine experience of living in a foreign land and a chance to meet outstanding people who enrich my journey.
