About Me
Hey everyone:)
I am a PhD student of linguistics at the University of Kaiserslautern. Before moving there, I studied in Bonn, which is still very dear to my heart :) Before that, in 2011-2012 I was an exchange student at Berea College in KY, US.
I'm majoring in Linguistics because language is all about people who create it, and what could be more amazing in this world than people! I'm also interested in psychology and biology to the degree I can understand it:)
I do yoga for several years. I like it because it unites body and mind, and is very good for both.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
CS is unpredictable and that makes it truly exciting! Seriously, you will never know what your trip is going to look like until you actually get there. Isn't that the sweet and unsettling feeling of surprise that keeps us all awake and alive?:)
And - I love meeting people, listening to their stories and learning from them. No tourist place will tell me about people's joys and troubles, their family histories and hopes for the future. I really appreciate being accepted in the local community even for some days and bringing home something more than a ton of look-how-cool-my-vacation-was pics:)
