Overview
About Me
Hey, my name is Tatjana. I lived in Serbia since 2020 and then I moved to Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. I'm enjoying traveling, meeting new people and walking in the nature.
I was in folk dance ensemble 18 years and there I realize how is important to meet new friends from all around the world.
As a scientist, I've learned that growth often lies beyond our comfort zones. That's why I'm here on Couchsurfing – to extend a warm welcome to travelers seeking a place to stay in Sarajevo. I was inspired to join after lending a hand to backpackers stranded in Stolac near Mostar. Their stories resonated with me, highlighting the challenges travelers face, especially in finding accommodation.
Sarajevo holds a special place in my heart, and I'm eager to share its wonders with fellow adventurers. Whether it's exploring the city's vibrant streets or venturing into the breathtaking landscapes that surround us, I'm here to make your stay unforgettable.
Join me in embracing the spirit of adventure and cultural exchange. Let's create meaningful connections and unforgettable memories together!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My introduction to Couchsurfing came about when my friends and I offered a helping hand to some backpackers we met near Stolac, close to Mostar. Seeing their genuine happiness and hearing about their global adventures ignited something within me. They also shared their struggles finding accommodation in Sarajevo, which motivated us to open our doors and hearts to travelers in need.
So, here I am, thrilled to extend a warm welcome to fellow adventurers in Sarajevo! Whether you're here to explore the city's rich history, immerse yourself in its vibrant culture, or simply enjoy its stunning surroundings, I'm excited to host you and make your stay as memorable as possible. Welcome to Sarajevo – let the adventures begin! 😊🌍

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A few days ago, I had the opportunity to assist people affected by flooding, including babies who were in need but lacked financial resources. This experience deeply touched me and reinforced my belief in the importance of extending a helping hand to those facing adversity. It's moments like these that remind me of the power of compassion and solidarity in our communities.
What I Can Share with Hosts
In addition to offering a helping hand during times of need, I also take great joy in showcasing the beauty of my city, sharing our rich culture, and introducing visitors to the tantalizing flavors of Bosnian cuisine. Whether it's guiding them through Sarajevo's historic streets, immersing them in our vibrant traditions, or treating them to the delights of local delicacies, I'm dedicated to helping travelers explore and experience the wonders of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the fullest.
