ABOUT ME

Hello there! My name is Tattiana. I am 21 years old, work part time at State Farm Insurance and attend San Diego Mesa Community College full time. I will be receiving my AA in Math and AS in Physics this coming May. I am excited to say I will be transferring to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo this coming fall for Electrical Engineering. Since I have this summer off I figured I would take advantage of it and backpack through Europe which has been on my list of "To-Do"s for as long as I can remember. I want to observe different countries and cultures rather than learning about them from a book. I'm a very hands on kind of person. I am willing to try anything at least once because how do you know you don't like something unless you've tried it. People who know me would say I'm fun, considerate, loving, humble and am always smiling or laughing. Laughter is definitely the best medicine and without it I wouldn't have survived hard times. I think of the glass as half full and there is a reason for everything. Learn from each situation and never regret anything. How do you go forward if you always stuck in the past? I can't wait to get on that plane and experience everything Europe has to offer and I hope I get to meet you!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe hard working is the best quality. Why would you want to think, "What would have happened if I put in a little more effort?" You will achieve more of your dreams if you add some hard work into the equation.

If something doesn't work out think of Plan B, and if needed Plan C.

Control the things you can. You will go crazy if try to control the things you can't.

Everything happens for a reason. A situation may seem terrible but it can lead you towards great opportunities.

Unfortunately, I can't offer a couch for anyone to crash on. But I am definitely up for playing tour guide to show you beautiful San Diego!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never "CouchSurfed" before but I look forward to trying it. I believe that it will be a great way to get a taste of the local culture in a way the hostels don't offer. There aren't even words for how much I will appreciate every couch lent to me or the company that comes with that cup of coffee.

Interests

I absolutely love the beach. The combination of feelings of the warm sun, rush of the water and smoothness of the sand is pure bliss for me

I am fascinated on how, why and what makes things function and move.

Education is very important to me. How can you have a meaningful conversation if you don't know anything?

Music is a major part of my everyday life. I enjoy listening to all kinds. Especially the kind you can dance and sing your heart out to.
