I majored in Communication Studies (or Social Communication, however you call it) last year at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA). I currently work full time as Social Media Analyst for a digital marketing agency here in Salvador, and also as a freelance photographer.

I'm an outgoing (and very talkative!) girl who loves to dance, any time, anywhere! Total party person! Haha. And yeah, I'd love to have a GREAT time with you if you ever stop by! Oh, by the way, I'm absurdly passionate about... ice cream. Yeah. Keep that in mind. ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Unfortunately, I can't host, but I have shown a lot of people around here in Salvador. I love to meet new people. It's amazing how much you can learn from other people's life stories. I think CS is a great community experience, and getting to know other cultures (or maybe a little bit more about your own) is one of the things I like the most. :)

Interests

Photography, archery, dancing. I'm also kind of a nerd/geek, so I have a great passion for videogames and sci-fi/fantasy literature. I read A LOT, but I'm also an internet addict (especially considering it's what I work with). Yeah, total geek. Hahaha... But don't let that fool you, I'm not anti-social at all. ;) Party person all the way! I love to hang out with my friends at night, going to clubs or bar hopping. I guess, like most people, I have sort of a mix of interests. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: It changes a lot. Lately I've been listening to more indie/alternative bands. But I'm really open to a lot of stuff (pretty easy to please, haha).

Movies: Star Wars, first and most of all. Pretty much every movie adapted from a comic book. Matrix. Lord of the Rings. Almost anything directed by Guillermo del Toro or Danny Boyle. All of Ryan Gosling's movies. Hahaha...

Books: Mostly Sci-fi and Fantasy literature. Impossible to list favorites. Although I do have a special fondness for "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" (which, ironically, is neither sci-fi nor fantasy, haha). :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A specific beach at Honolulu, Hawaii. I was just a kid, so I don't even remember which beach it was, but even at a young age I was simply amazed. The beauty is indescribable.

My trip to Chapada Diamantina here in Brazil was also pretty awesome. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm kind of a jack of all trades. Kinda good at a lot of things, but not really good at any of them. But I can teach about photography. =) I'd love to learn how to cook, but I'm a disaster in the kitchen (and believe me, I've tried a lot, haha). And I'm sure there's always plenty of things to share.
