Overview
About Me
Explorer at heart, engineer by profession. I split my time between coding, traveling the world, and dancing salsa and bachata. Fitness, good conversations, and personal growth are important parts of my life. Currently based in Delhi, but always dreaming of my next adventure.
Personal Background:
I grew up in Delhi, a city known for its historical significance and bustling streets.
Travel Philosophy:
Traveling solo as a backpacker has given me a unique perspective on life and adventure. I've explored some amazing places in Asia, including Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia. Each trip has enriched my understanding of different cultures and introduced me to some incredible people. My next dream destination is Europe, and I can't wait to explore its diverse landscapes and history.
Hosting Experience:
I'm new to Couchsurfing and have no hosting experience yet. However, I'm excited to dive into this community, meet new people, and share stories and experiences.
Interests and Hobbies:
When I’m not working, you can find me dancing salsa and bachata, two passions that bring a lot of joy and rhythm to my life. I also love cafe hopping and enjoying a good cold coffee, exploring new spots, and soaking in the local vibes.
What I Can Offer:
As a guest, I can cook Indian and little of Mediterranean food. Also, I'm eager to offer engaging conversations, my enthusiasm for dance, and tips from my travel adventures in Asia.
Language Skills:
I speak English and Hindi, and I'm always open to picking up new phrases in different languages to better connect with people from all over the world.
References/Reviews:
Since I'm new to Couchsurfing, I don't have any references yet, but I'm looking forward to building a positive reputation within this wonderful community.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
I’m a huge fan of Hans Zimmer, particularly his compositions "No Time for Caution," "Cornfield Chase," and "Time." His music has an incredible ability to evoke deep emotions and set the tone for epic storytelling.
Movies:
I'm drawn to movies that challenge the mind and stir the soul. Some of my all-time favorites are:
Interstellar: A breathtaking journey through space and time that explores the depths of human emotion and scientific discovery.
Inception: A mind-bending thriller that delves into the complexities of dreams and reality.
The Dark Knight Trilogy: Particularly "Batman," where the character development and storytelling are top-notch, alongside Hans Zimmer’s remarkable score.
Books:
One of my favorite books is "Sapiens" by Yuval Noah Harari. This thought-provoking book offers a comprehensive look at the history of humankind, exploring how we have evolved and shaped the world we live in today. It's a must-read for anyone interested in history, anthropology, and the future of our species.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've done is solo backpacking through Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia. Traveling alone allowed me to step out of my comfort zone, navigate new environments independently, and connect deeply with the local cultures. Each adventure was filled with incredible experiences, from exploring bustling cities and serene landscapes to meeting fellow travelers and locals who enriched my journey. This trip not only broadened my perspective but also ignited my passion for exploring the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach:
I can teach you the basics of salsa and bachata dancing. These dances have brought a lot of joy into my life, and I love sharing that joy with others. I can also offer insights into the tech industry and share some coding tips from my experience as a software engineer at Microsoft.
Learn:
I'm always eager to learn about new cultures, languages, and local traditions. Whether it's a new dance style, a unique recipe, or an interesting historical fact about your area, I'm all ears. I'm also keen to learn any travel tips or hidden gems from your experiences.
Share:
I can share stories and tips from my solo backpacking adventures across Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia. I also love exploring cafes, so I can recommend some great coffee spots and share my experiences of cafe hopping. Plus, I can offer a glimpse into life in Delhi, India, and provide travel advice for those interested in visiting.
