About Me

ABOUT ME

I am calm, fun loving, helpful person.
I would like others to think of me as someone who can make good milkshakes.
On a sunny day I am happy doling out cheers to others, on other days I am home
sipping tea and trying to do many things at once.
My house welcomes anyone who is cheerful.

PHILOSOPHY

live and let live. the world is big and has lots to give.

Besides that I cherish the happy and fun filled moments I spent with my friends where we talk on informative and general topics. Our goal is to to help, be happy and learn about the intriguing world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was introduced to CS by a Canadian male friend who was hosting some guests.
I felt CS was a great idea to know people by hosting them for a few days at your home. It seems like a great situation where you can break your usual routine life by meeting new people right at your home and enjoy time talking and sharing experiences. Its a great new concept to befriend and know new stranger people while having comfort level of trust prior to meeting them.

Music, Movies, and Books

Mostly I listen to music originating in the Indian subcontinent - India, Pakistan. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan would be my favorite. I am fond of watching movies. I grew up, during childhood days, on Hindi Bollywood movies. I have many lists of favorites of hindi songs and movies on youtube.

These days I am trying to expand my horizon of familiarity with music by listening to country music, popular
music on Spotify.

Occasionally I watch English movies. English favorites would be - A Series of Unfortunate Events, Cold Mountain, Jumanji, Terminator series.

You are most welcome to suggest a movie worth watching.

I don't usually read lot of novels or fiction. But I like the short stories by Anton Chekov, O Henry, Somerset Maugham. Last novel that I enjoyed to read was Lowland by Jhumpa Lahiri.
