So far I've been couchsurfing once in England, several times in New Zealand and across right America as well as having hosted people in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Local knowledge. A mattress with bottom sheets and an old sleeping bag that doesn't zip up in your own private room. Stories. Smiles.

Only have one small spare mattress so can only host ONE PERSON AT A TIME!

I am an not a staving artist, however I am poor so I expect that people wont take the pish when it comes to having showers and using other sources of electricity. If you stay with a person for free and leave them with a addition $20 on their monthly bill after just a few days then you have mistaken the meaning of being sociable.
