ABOUT ME

I'm a mix of genes and cultures. German & Australian culture and German, English and Scottish genes.

Did a big round the world trip in 2007! (gee, already so long ago!) I went to: India (2 mths), Europe (3.5 mths), Venezuela (4 mths), Canada (1.5 mths), USA (2 mths), New Zealand (2 wks). I kept a travel blog if you want to see what I got up to: http://philip-werner.com/roundtheworld2007

Since then I've "settled" in Melbourne where I've been for the last five years.

I'm not really a party animal (anymore) but I am open to new things coming my way :)

So far I have surfed (through CS) in Venezuela, Canada, USA, New Zealand and Australia :)

And hosted various people from Australia and the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am not into normal tourism. I am much more interested in getting to know different people and spending time with them and seeing their life.

Couch Surfing is ideal for this :) So far it has just been great.
