ABOUT ME

We gotta make fun of our lives the whole time, no matter what!!! ;-)
Sense of humor is essential to deal with everything we might face in our ways...

But, talking more seriously now (I was before too!)...

I am currently in a Sabbatical trip time of my life. I left Brazil at the end of March/11 and since then I've had really great times and experiences in this trip.
I spent 3 months in Europe and now I am living in Mhaswad in India to do a volunteer work for a microcredit institution (Mann Deshi) - and now I also teach poor children how to play soccer (and for the first time in my life I am the best player in the field!!! haha).
In Europe I did the Way of Saint James (or "Camino de Santiago") and spent one month studying Spanish in Salamanca as well.
Here in India I will be till the end of August when I intend to travel a little bit around Asia before coming back to Brazil.
I love to know different people and cultures! Exchanging experiences is a priceless thing in our lives… and I really believe that traveling and sharing experiences with local people is the best investment that one can do and the funniest way to get to the culture knowledge and understanding of the world.

I am both available to receive people in Brazil and travel around the planet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have already received foreign people in my house in Brazil and also have used some couchs around. Couch Surfing idea is just nice!

Interests

I love talking to people and know about their culture (food, religions, political situation, history and behaviors).
I like playing drums and get to know different kinds of musics from all over the world.
Helping people is also something that really makes me feel good, specially children.
Snowboarding and Soccer are my favorite sports… although unfortunately we don’t have snow in Brazil…
Finally, photography is my new hobby now - I could not forget it! :-D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Parachute jumping is one of the best sensations one could have. Fear and freedom all together is possible!

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach a little bit of drums playing, some soccer and my portuguese language.
I would like to learn more about foreign foods, music and different kinds of sports that are not usual in Brazil.
