About Me

Please don't send any couch requests for july/august/september and october. I am travelling and won't always have internet access.

CURRENT MISSION

Dear little pill peppernut, I never want to grow up.

ABOUT ME

My friend Semra and I are currently travelling through the US, Mexico, Belize and Guatemala. We have been travel buddies since 2008 when we went to Ethiopia, later we also explored Asia together. During the last years, we haven't really travelled together (except for a couple of city trips in europe), so we are really looking forward to exploring new places.

I like adventuring outdoors, but I also really love sitting around a table and sharing with others, going to the pictures, for a drink, or playing games. I'm a nesh: My tea consumption is excessive, and I always take my hot water bottle and cozy socks with me. If you stay with us, we might force you to play Ligretto or Jungle Speed with us ;)

PHILOSOPHY

There is no way to happiness, happiness is the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My sister and I have an apartment in Düsseldorf-Bilk and would be happy to host you. We just moved back to Germany after a couple of years abroad, but as we do not know this region of Germany, we would love to explore the area together with you!
We get a lot of couch requests every day, so when sending a request, please also tell what you think of purple unicorns, so that I know that you read the profile thoroughly.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I can hardly remember a day without anyone staying at our place in Vietnam. We lived in Hoi An, which is one of the touristiest towns in central Vietnam and invited either friends, their friends or people we met in pubs to stay with us. I am glad to have met so many lovely individuals! Anyhow, I didn't like it when I came home from my holidays and found one of my drawers empty ;-)
