My motto in life is "I should be driving around in a 59' Cadillac El Dorado kissin' on Buddy Holly, but something got messed up in the paperwork so I'm stuck here."
The 4 main things to my life are Animals, Vintage Life, Food, and Nerdy things. I volunteer at local animal shelters and "specialize" in special needs and hospice animals. I collect vintage clothing and love going to car shows. Never call me a foodie- I am sick in the head about food- that is how you describe me. I have helped with Star Trek fan films and have gone to the Star Trek Las Vegas Convention. I must boast I've created some one of a kind costumes/cosplay!
I live in the Midwest (looking to move to the Southwest) and have done a lot of traveling in comparison to most people around here, but not much in comparison to people on this site. I've only been outside the US once and that was to Germany in 2009. I would love to and plan on going over seas more often soon.
I believe we no matter who we meet or for how long they may be in our lives, a part of them becomes a part of us. We learn, see, and experience others around us all the time and they help make us who we are. I hope that time spent with me adds to you're happiness, inspiration, and determination to live your life to it's fullest!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have friend who has traveled all over the world couch surfing and never stayed at a hotel. He has so many great stories and just recently recommend I try it out. I love to meet new people, and experience the local life, not the chain restaurants or just tourist traps. I'd love to be able to experience what it is really like to live in other areas. Once I get moved/my own place I'd love and be honored to host others!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Buddy Holly and all 1950's 60's music, Jazz, Swing, Old country, classical, and new stuff but usually not the pop on the big box radio.

Movies: "Real Genius" (1980's movie) if I could make everyone in the world watch one movie this would be it. Others- "Stranger than Fiction", "Logan", and mostly comedies and action.

Books : Ok so I can't really follow all those words on all those pages. Never been good at that. I do love children's picture books and have 2 that I am currently working on writing myself.

I owned my own Bakery/Cafe and was a contestant on Cupcake Wars twice.

I love dancing although I don't really know how. I've been told I "bop around". So if you have any moves to share bring it on!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love to bake with you! Or if you really don't want to help I'd still like to bake for you. I also am a profecional cleaner so I can help in that way! Also, if you didn't figure it out with all my photos if you have pets I'd love to help with them be it learning a new trick or just pet sitting for you.
