ABOUT ME

Well... I'm a native Californian trying to see the world before I get bamboozled into a career, mortgage and (gasp!) maybe even settling down.

I'm generally pretty nice, but I must warn you that I'm also really sarcastic, which some people don't get. Apparently I'm funny, which is good as I make myself laugh. I am full of random comments and tend to just bounce around from subject to subject whenever I please.

I like trying to learn other languages, but I'm crap at them. I LOVE watching Guinness settle. I like going out with friends, but I am also quite happy staying home and watching movies. I don't like people that stand too close to me when they're talking and I hate David Caruso. Watching CSI Miami makes me want to slap him...

At the moment I'm renting a room in Christchurch from a lady, so I don't have a couch to offer, but I'm more than willing to explore Christchurch with anyone that wants to explore or show me around!

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe diem. I don't want to have any regrets about missed opportunities and I want to try to experience all I can while I'm here!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I'm just surfing and meeting new people. Hopefully I'll be able to host when I "grow up" and get my own place!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All have been great. I've surfed in the UK and met up with other surfers in Spain and the UK

I'm mostly interested in traveling while I can (I don't want to be one of those old people telling younger people "I wish I'd done that when I was your age")

I love meeting new people, especially people from other countries/cultures than me

I like the cinema/movies and a plethora of other things depending on the day or my mood

I like almost all movies, I like MOST types of music, but country is my favorite and I enjoy books that are good :-D

I've been skydiving 18 times - but I broke my back on my last jump. Oops, my bad!

*Note to self - if you don't have depth perception, like me, then skydiving is NOT the sport for you*
