About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to experience as many lovely places & people as possible
ABOUT ME
I am a very open person and love traveling and experiencing new things. I am working to be an artist, which is a love/hate occupation all the time. I talk as much as possible to as many people as possible and truly believe it is one of the best ways to grow and learn. I'm a great cook and love cooking for others. I particularly appreciate kitchen competitions, and will take challenges open-call. Bring it.
I go by the variations of Tay Tay, Boo-tay tay, Mash-po-tays, Aunt-tay-tay...depending on which variation of myself happens to be on display. I'm easy going and I find it difficult to not get along with people. I don't take myself too seriously, and chances are if you come to stay, my goal is to make sure you have a fun, memorable time.
PHILOSOPHY
"We are but pilgrims on the earth, we come from afar and we are going far"- Vincent Van Gogh
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Couchsurfing became a part of my life in 2010, and since has assisted in creating some of my most memorable experiences. While living in Baltimore, MD I hosted many groups of travelers and hope to do so again in the future. I currently live in a small studio apartment in downtown Detroit, so though I don't have a couch to crash on, I'd still love to show the city to those traveling through.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Surfing and hosting couches over the years, being a tourist in my own city, long talks, outdoor adventures, Vespa rides by the falls, exchanging of opinions, many laughs...
Interests
I have many interests, and an endearing curiosity for most things in life. Live music, art, literature, with an endearing love of good wine, and good food. I come from a culinary family, and am always happy to whip up a plate of something delicious. I spend a good bit of my time out in nature, and love camping/hiking/kayaking when the season permits.
