About Me

Hi, I’m Tayeb from Algeria, currently living and working in Hanoi as an English teacher.

I’ve been living abroad for a few years, so I’m very used to different cultures and respectful of people’s homes and routines.

I enjoy simple things:
• good conversations
• discovering local life
• learning how people actually live, not just tourist places

I’m easygoing, clean, and independent. I don’t expect to be hosted like a guest. I adapt and respect your space.

I also create content about my life abroad and travel experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Mostly into English pop—catchy tunes and good vibes.

Books: Enjoy reading about personal growth, communication, and psychology. Some favorites include Men from Mercury and Women from Venice, How to Be a People’s Magnet?, The Secret, and How to Be Twice Smart.

Movies: Love action, comedy, and thought-provoking stories. Big fan of The Bourne series, Yes Man, and The Great Gatsby. Always up for a good movie recommendation!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once left my paid teaching job for nearly a month to volunteer in Poland as an English teacher for two weeks.

I made that decision to reconnect with why I started teaching in the first place. During that time, I worked with students from different backgrounds, helped them improve their communication, and shared daily life with locals.

It reminded me that teaching is not just a job for me. It is something I genuinely enjoy, especially when I can help people grow and connect across cultures.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: English and cultural insights from Algeria, Vietnam and my past travels.

Learn: Local traditions, languages, and hidden gems. Always eager to hear personal stories and different perspectives.

Share: Great conversations, travel experiences, and a positive outlook on life. Also happy to share books, movie recommendations, and a love for good music!
