I'm an Aussie who just finished doing a two year working visa in Enlgland. I'm currently backpacking around Europe before heading back to Australia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couch surfing because I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures! I think the best way to explore the area is meeting locals or people who live in the area who can show you the best parts of their city/town.
The other thing I love doing is learning! I feel like there's so many skills I would love to learn and there's so much to about the world I don't know so it would be great if hosts are able to share their particular passion/hobby/skills with me :)
I also love to write, and people I've met in my travels often make the best inspiration and can offer so much insight into all sorts of things that I know nothing about! :)

Interests

Travel is obviously one on my main interests and learning about different cultures! Besides that, I love reading crime fiction novels and watching crap reality TV shows. Does wine also count as an interest? ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music, I have my cringe worthy Taylor Swift mixed in with Tame Impala, the 1975 (oh how I love that band) Fleetwood Mac, Coldplay, Arctic Monkeys, Flume, Bastille..
In terms of movies, I love all things Disney, but I enjoy most comedy films.
Soooo many books. I love reading. Anyone that can recommend a decent book makes me happy!

I recently went to the Sahara Desert and rode a camel which was pretty rad!
