About Me

Current location:

A little life history:

2018/2020: living in Spain teaching English and learning Spanish.

2017: a variety of add jobs and work exchanges both in the USA and in Europe. 3 months of backpacking in Europe with my partner.

2016: My partner and I relocated to Eugene, Oregon (from Cali). We made a cozy little home there, made some great friends and enjoyed seeing the seasons change in the beautiful Willamette valley.

2015: 6-months on the road with my partner Jordan exploring our home country. We went to the 4 furthest corners of continental USA trying to get a sense of our country and hopefully to find a location that resonated with us.

2014-2010: Santa Cruz... ohh sweet Santa Cruz

Jordan and I shared a profile during our previous travels and have several shared references.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

CouchSurfing is a great way to land yourself right into someone's everyday reality, it's a raw experience as well as a great way to make friends.

I think the amount of goodwill and trust shared with strangers through CS is beautiful and grounding. Plus the local advice is priceless when traveling!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Six months of continuous travel across the US, mainly camping and CouchSurfing.

In California I climbed 100ft up a Douglas fir and jumped down!

Epic adventure being taken in by a Lithuanian family.

6 hours of Hungarian folk dancing in Budapest!

Living in Spain.

Hiking to a remote church in Liguria (Italy) with our CS host to eat pasta made by the hands of the community members (all supplied carried up- no road or electricity).

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
How DNA replicates, cells divide, and cancer develops in the body. Yoga, self-improvement, how to travel well and organizational skills. How to use a real map- not a GPS.

Learn:
Anything and everything! Particularly practical hands on skills (cooking unique dishes, gardening, building things, etc). Spanish!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Time, company, art, food, thought.

Countries I’ve Visited

Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Mexico, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland
