Hello there ~

I am a newcomer to this community, so let me tell you a bit about myself!

I am Taylor, you can also call me Tay, or T, or whatever you like really. I am an open minded, easy going, respectful, compassionate, Earth loving soul who currently resides in Orlando, FL, but will be moving out to Santa Rosa, CA in late January for a full time viticulturist position on local organic vineyards . I am a recent graduate of the University of Central Florida with a degree in Biology and Environmental Science, focusing heavily on botanical studies and conservation biology, in hopes to one day save the world (as cliche as that sounds).

I am outgoing, and strive for genuine human connection in every interaction I encounter. In my opinion, this is the way to truly open up doors of trust and friendship. I love to learn, and with that comes to love to teach. I am an open book with lots of knowledge about the biological world we thrive in, and am always yearning to spread seeds of knowledge and deeper peoples understanding of nature.

I am an avid adventurer and all around outdoors woman, desiring to soak up every ounce of splendor this Earth provides for us. I also love to capture these moments, and am a long time nature photographer. I have been doing yoga for 5 years now. and it is a large and very important part of my young life.

I love fruit, good wine, good music, and good, mind stimulating conversation. Simplistic living, its the small things in life that truly make me whole.

I hope this gives you a good glimpse of who I am, as I am an infinitely expanding individual with many stories to tell, and much more to share if the opportunity is granted to me.

Before graduating, I was graciously offered a position to be a full-time viticulturist in Santa Rosa, California. Beginning on January 20th, I will be driving out to California from Orlando, Florida, with a months travel time before I start my job on February 27th. With just me, myself and I, I will be traversing along the southern states and would love to have this experience to both be a foundation of safety and peace of mind, as well as add to the adventure of my trip. I have always wanted to try out couch surfing, and this trip grants me a wonderful opportunity to do so!

I truly love all music, and my span of interest is very vast. I love everything from Jazz to rock to reggae to electronic.

Not a huge movie watcher, but I love a good comedy or enticing sci-fi thriller. Movies that really make you think.

ALL books of ALL kinds. I am a huge reader and have read a vast majority of texts, anywhere from autobiographies to text books to fiction novels. One of my favorite books thus far is Shantaram by Gregory Davis. I am currently reading the Celestine Prophecy.

A couple years ago I sky dove in Lake Taupo, New Zealand over a chain of active volcanoes and crater lakes. Absolutely incredible experience.

I may be young, but I believe I have a very vast and deep scope of knowledge; mentally, spiritually , emotionally and physically. I am loaded with fun, nerdy scientific facts about the natural world. I would love more than anything to share my knowledge of plants and their medicinal uses along with homeopathic remedies and recipes of my own (I brought lots of goodies along with me on my trip). I would also love to cook you a delicious vegetarian/vegan meal as I have years of formal and non formal culinary experience under my belt. I want to connect, to teach and learn and grow and really befriend someone who would have been a complete stranger otherwise. I want to treat your home respectfully and be nothing but a beneficial aspect to your space and your life.
