I am a recovering type A personality with the goal of rolling with the punches and running with whatever (or to wherever) life sends me. I am an open minded and kind hearted person determined to be a global citizen. I travel for discovery, not sport.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I can't stand the idea of being just a tourist. Sure, I go and see the touristy sights, but I desire to immerse myself in culture and meet people from around the world. I joined the Couchsurfing community after I heard about it from a friend who said it changed her life. I am new to the community, but I am excited to start experiencing real culture and making new friends.

Music: I listen to just about everything. From classic rock to techno, blues and jazz to Christian worship music, country to international.
Movies: Action movies, superhero movies, occasionally chick flicks.
Books: I love historic fiction and non-fiction books, sometimes mystery books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a month in Nepal working on an engineering project and then traveling with a group of awesome people who became lifelong friends.
