I'm a recent graduate from Victoria University of Wellington who is travelling across Europe and the United States from July until December.

As awkward as it always is to try and describe yourself, I would say that I am an outgoing, friendly person who enjoys meeting new people.

I enjoy making my own way through cities and getting a chance to try and experience places atypical of being a tourist.

I'm always up for grabbing a drink and having the chance to experience the nightlife of the respective cities that I pass through, as such I would be glad to do the same for those whom are looking to pass through Wellington.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want the opportunity to meet awesome people with whom my path would not normally cross. The hope is that meeting and staying with locals as I roam from place to place will make for a much more fun, interesting and memorable journey than some kind of packaged tour would.

Interests

I'm really into my music and love going to see gigs, I especially like seeing smaller local acts that you otherwise wouldn't know about except for having been told by a local.

I'm a pretty massive NBA fan, chances are if my team are playing (OKC Thunder) and I'm not out and about I will be streaming it on my phone or TV. That being said I enjoy going to almost any live sports when possible to get a chance to experience the atmosphere of different sporting venues around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music tastes are quite broad and can range anywhere from Rock/Metal to Pop and Electronic music. That being said, some of my favourite bands include (but are not limited to) Queens of the Stone Age, The Black Keys, The Arctic Monkeys, Gorillaz, Nirvana, Oasis and Tame Impala. More recent bands I have really been enjoying are Catfish and the Bottlemen, Sticky Fingers and DMAs.

Favourite movies of all time would probably be childhood favourites like Back to the Future or Star Wars. Recent movies I have enjoyed have been Whiplash, Boyhood, Mad Max, Nightcrawler and Looper.
