Overview
About Me
I live in austin. Love to travel and meet new people, but feel super connected and grounded to my community here these days. I work remotely from home with my dog Fig and would love the chance to share my space with travelers every now and again!
If you're willing to share or practice one of the languages I'm learning, that would be amazing. I also love to try new cuisines or dishes, and am not allergic to anything though avoid beef and other meat as much as possible.
I live on a very open-minded and close-knit and quiet street. So you'll need to be respectful of the neighbors, and tolerant of all lifestyles.
Preference given to hosting LGBTQ+ and BIPOC travelers :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A good friend in college used to host folks, and he always had the most amazing time. I've also gotten extremely interested in sustainable tourism and just getting back to the simple basic joys of traveling. Meeting locals and making new friends is the best way to get to a know a place. I always want to be learning, growing and giving back when I travel and couchsurfing opens up a lot of cool opportunities to do that.

Teach, Learn, Share
I love where I live in east austin. There are plenty of fun things to do here ranging from learning about sustainable farming at the local Boggy Creek Farm, or building a community bike at Yellow Bike Project, to dancing at clubs on red river like Barbarella and catching live music all over town, to crafting at the donation based Junebug Coffee on Cesar Chavez and CRAFT in Canopy area, to tasting amazing food like Gus's Fried Chicken or Veracruz taco truck, to paddle boarding on the river, or thrifting downtown.
I love sharing my city and am excited to learn from you too.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Gorgeous outdoor space with lounge chairs and hammocks.

Moped to get around town (if you have a license).
