Hi everyone! My name is Taylor, I'm 21 years old, and I am currently spending the spring semester of my 3rd year in college in Viterbo, Italy. I study Women's Studies with minors in English and International Studies and I love to travel, listen to music, and meet new people. I'm really easy going and I generally travel to a new city without much of a plan because I know that if I just walk and explore on my own then I will find something amazing. I am facinated with European history and culture and take advantage of all opportunities to learn something new! While museams and monuments are great, I often find that it's the little everyday life things that leave me awestruck.

Unfortunately traveling the world is expensive. To be honest, at the end of the day I wouldn't even want to spend my trips in five star hotels in the most touristy cities not only because that would drain my bank account, but because I would much rather experience real everyday life in a foreign city than spend all of my time with other tourists. I really don't mind sleeping on couches or on the floor so couchsurfing sounds perfect to me.
