Im a 24 year old Canadian who just spent the past year and half living in Tasmania, Australia. I worked at the Reception of a sick backpackers and met some amazing people. I'm pretty chilled out, and I enjoy hiking, camping, yoga, eating and cooking, attempting to draw and getting creative, going to festivals, being silly, and having a few wines or beers every so often of course. I like sunrises over sunsets but I also love the hour at dusk when everything turns gold :D Stoked on life overall!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Next on the bucket list is, of course, to get a van in New Zealand and travel around- hike, swim, camp etc! I'm starting in Christchurch and hoping to meet some cool chill people there while I suss out some sweet vans in hopes of finding the perfect one to call home for a few months

Music, Movies, and Books

Im currently reading Shantaram and - i know its typcial - but its also awesome. I love adventure books such as "Into thin air" and non-fiction like "Brain on Fire".
Im basically a fan of most styles of music. I like electronic music - mostly stuff that's big, fun, and funky like Glitch Hop or kind of grimy as well. GRiZ is one of my favorite djs but I'm into a lot! I also like indie, folk, rock, and alternative music, and enjoy music festivals as much as the next person.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Have backpacked south east Asia for 3 months, spent a month in Sri Lanka volunteering with sea turtles, worked on a ski hill for a season in Fernie BC, and helped to run a hostel in Tasmania, of which I also have lived in for a year and a half. (5 months in a 12 bed dorm at one point - i kid you not)
