About Me
Do you know the story of how fig fruits are blowing? Why this world has wind?
I am an adventurist thirsty for knowledge and experiences (and strangely normal facts). I believe everyone you meet has a story; you just have to be present and listening to hear it. In my down time, I like to read trippy and/or heady stories and classic novels and all in between. Now that I am done with college, I have started reading the classics I probably should have read long ago. I am always up for suggestions. Cooking is an ongoing passion of mine--especially cooking for others! My go-to meals include veggie stir fry, curry, alfredo pasta, pancakes, and bagel sandwiches. I get excited about hodge podges and dinner collabs, and am emotionally connected to food.
I am a collector of experiences and commonly find myself laughing at how beautiful my current situation at hand is.
I just graduated from Colorado Mesa University with my BS in Biology. Specifically, I took classes focused on ecology, evolution, and botany. I am drawn to the convergence of science and religion and enjoy friendly debates and other perspectives.
I work for my school's Outdoor Program and have worked hard to spend an incredibly large portion of my time exploring the desert landscape of Utah, the waters of Colorado and Utah, the 14ers of Colorado, and the various flowers and fungi everywhere I go.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Finding a 'home away from home' complete with locals during my travels is UBER appealing to me. The beauty in traveling, is exposing one to the beauty everywhere. I want to see as much of this beauty as I can. I want to broaden my comfort zone and sense of adventure while traveling. I want to meet other humans that are more than willing to house a weary 'transient' for a night or few. I believe in the power of sharing and I like to remember that others share that same belief. I feel that there is a new type of companionship to be found and experience through using CS. Friends! Yeet!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bought a van, named her Rabbit, and converted her to live in my senior year of college (to avoid rent)
Teach, Learn, Share
I have 3 years experience of leading my college peers into the backcountry and teaching various recreational sports/ lifestyles (ex. Rafting, climbing, backpacking).
My head is composed of random and fascinating nature facts.
I was raised by nutritious chefs and know about eating healthy and delicious.
I can make a mean gin and tonic.
I have been raised to share everything. Whether that means half my granola bar, a drink of water, an extra layer, my dinner, stories, or the workload; it is a concept I live by.
I want to learn how people live and survive. What is your lifestyle? What can you show me? I am continually trying to improve my Spanish and I am interested in remote living and tiny living. I want to experience more culture of where I am. I believe we can learn something from everyone. Whether it is a large or small lesson, it still makes an impact.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories, perspective, large talk (as opposed to small talk), laughter, FOOD, I like physical labor so if you have any projects around the house I would love to help.
