About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I currently live with the family that I work as an Au Pair for, so I cannot host but when I am back in the States anyone is welcome to stay with me!
I want to travel as much as possible while trying to get into Medical School, drinking red wine, and seeing all kinds of live music. I love to try local foods and drinks with locals. I don't really like being a tourist per se other than to see the popular spots during the day. I always want to learn about the place I am visiting.
ABOUT ME
Hey! I recently from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Biology and will be applying to medical school this summer. From Jan 2015-April 2015 I was living and working as an Au Pair in Sevilla, Spain. Two years ago I lived in Rome as a student and was able to see a lot of Europe. I love to meet new people and see new places! I think my favorite thing when I travel is to try to get lost and off the beaten path because it is so hard to get away from the glamorized versions of areas put on for tourists.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in karma and just being a good person in general. It doesn't take much to be kind. Do good, don't put others down, volunteer, smile at strangers, help someone pick up their belongings...it's the little things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far I have hosted a few people back in the States, but never in Europe because I haven't stayed in an apartment that allowed for it. Right now, I appreciate couchsurfing with people who want to share their city and culture with me. I prefer it to hostels and hotels because it's nice to learn from a local person!.
I know I don't have a lot of references on here but I can promise I am always respectful of your things and your privacy and I am a lot of fun! I like to party but also to relax and talk about life, the world, etc.

Interests
I love art, post-hardcore music, biology, medicine, rock and alternative music, going to shows, coffee, playing soccer, water sports, playing guitar...pretty much anything. I played soccer for 14 years so it's a passion of mine. Let's go see a game!
I have recently started keeping a journal because my memory sucks so I like to write a lot. I also really love to learn languages when I can. I have a intermediate level of Italian and Spanish and I know random words from the places I've visited in the past.
If you want to win my heart take me to see live music. Beer and live music is where it's at!

Music, Movies, and Books
John Green books, Dan Brown...I love to read but I've been in school so much that I hardly ever have time. My favorite book is Looking for Alaska by John Green
La Dispute, Brand New, Balance and Composure, Manchester Orchestra, Iron & Wine, Bon Iver, ....honestly this list could go on forever.
Fun fact: I collect records and fixed my dads old record player from the 70s. I love to explore vintage shops for vinyl.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I saw Pope Francis get elected when I was living in Rome.
There aren't really words to describe running through the streets of Rome in the rain to see the white smoke and hear his speech.
Teach, Learn, Share
I obviously can help you practice English! I love to cook as well as to draw and things as well. I also like corny jokes so get ready!
I keep a few blogs with photos from different countries as well as my art portfolio. Check them out!

I want to learn anything you have to teach me, seriously...surprise me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a super quirky person. I know lots of random (somewhat useless) facts, and I nerd out when it comes to biology related things. I know way too many Pokemon than a 22yr old female should and my ipod has over 14000 songs. Let's be friends :)
