I'm 31, from the U.S., and have done a smattering of jobs in the past 8 years: graphic designer, conservationist, tree planter, butterfly center tour guide, forest researcher, and student, which I'm grateful to say have taken me to national parks all over the world. I love jobs outdoors.

Although I would characterize myself as a somewhat sentimental person, I endorse minimalism and make a conscious effort to avoid accruing too much stuff. The things I do have are mostly second-hand. I like climbing things, especially trees and bouldering walls. I love my bicycle. When I'm not outside, I enjoy drinking copious amounts of caffeine and reading fiction, making handmade gifts, and procrastinating. I like to collect fruit and nuts and jar lots of delicious treats for winter. I'm currently getting into gardening. I'm passionate about forest restoration and eating toast.

I recently moved from the UK to Germany by bicycle with my partner Joey (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/joey.kuna). Now we're in Freiburg and are happy to host, practice German, and meet new friends.
