About Me

Hello,

I'm a super relaxed gentleman living in New York City. I am Chinese and Jamaican; was born in the States and grew up abroad. Attended a NY Public University as a Philosophy, Politics, and Law major.

I work for a Education Non-Profit in NYC. I love traveling and meeting kind and loving people. I am very energetic and playful 😀 I love games!! Every game ever!!

I like to do acrobatics, like backflips and handstands. I am a huge adventurer, everyone tells me I'm fearless cause it's pretty true.

I am super friendly but totally hate injustice so I like to ask people to be nicer. I like to make friends and am super social. I pride myself on having super nice friends who remind me of how awesome the world is.

I don't travel enough which is a huge reason I want to make this profile but I grew up thinking of myself as a global citizen because of the multiple ethnicities present in my house: i.e. Chinese, Jamaican, Estadounidense, etc.

This is a friend I've done most of my couchsurfing with, look for my name in his recommendations:

Hola hola,

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wanna have friends everywhere!!!!! -rawr-
Yeah, that's the short answer.

I also want to surf/crash in dope places all over the world. I have so many cool friends who recommended me to couch surfing because of my vibes. I am really into meeting people and totally open to experiencing a variety of lifestyles and philosophies.

I also just love people! I want to welcome people into my home and show them how my world functions and ticks. I have been fortunate enough to travel a little bit and meet cool peeps all over the world who help fuel my travel addiction.

I love to show people what life in the States is like and how cool some of us can be. Especially because I'm aware of all the sucky things my home country has done so let me show how awesome North Americans can be despite our history :]

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Status about my travels in Vietnam:
"In the last 24 hours I've: been sun burnt, covered in sand, and then in grease, upside-down in a stranger's hammock, threatened at gun point and knife point simultaneously, naked in the ocean, pooped into a river, attacked by a chicken and the traffic police, charmed by a stoic 7 year old (she saved me from the chicken), bled, cried a bit, sweat a ton, and "technically" broke into an abandoned hotel complex (but they were asking for it).
This 6 dollar guesthouse is pretty nice though.."

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: Camping, living in the wilderness, LNT principles, rock climbing I can teach you a backflip, Jamaican Patois, about USA especially NYC and Florida, also about Disney World (because I worked there for 5 years), couple latin american dance basics, random trivia, oh and a little about adulting/life.

Learn: Teach me everything! I want to know your passion and story! People absolutely fascinate me, especially those fighting to write a cool story. I am particularly interested in civil society and laws abroad too.
