My boyfriend and I haven taken a year off from the working grind to explore the Americas. We converted an old van and have taken off on a road trip from Alaska to South America. We plan to spend as much time outdoors as possible and look forward to meeting people with different perspectives and cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couch surfing is a brilliant idea. I truly feel there is no better way to travel than to immerse yourself amongst local people. Simply lovely. My boyfriend and I have a nice little camper van we converted ourselves, but are hoping to be able to couch surf occasionally in cold weather or when we feel like socializing and meeting new people.

I spent a year traveling through Europe sleeping on couches of whomever would host me. I met some of the most wonderfully unique people and loved every minute of it. I hope to continue to meet interesting people and explore new places as I continue to travel around the globe.

Interests

I grew up up with the Rocky Mountains in my backyard so I love anything having to do with the outdoors: hiking, rafting, climbing, backpacking, camping, etc. I also enjoy a good book, a fun party, a home cooked meal, and stimulating conversation.
