About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to explore as many places and have as many positive expereinces as I can until I become a professional...and then I plan to continue to have wonderful, inspiring experiences afterwards!

ABOUT ME

I am a college student from a small town in Maine. Attending college in New York has been very exciting and new for me. I have not done much traveling in my days, but I plan to change that. I love meeting new people and sharing unique and powerful experiences with them. I love the outdoors, am very outgoing, and will try just about anything. Once I set my mind to something, I am tenacious and I never give up.

PHILOSOPHY

Be open to anything and everything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently studying gender and sexuality in Amsterdam for the spring semester. Besides a short trip to Canada and a few family vacations to Florida, I have only traveled once to San Francisco with my girlfriend, Rebecca. We stayed in the city for 7 days and stayed with three different hosts. I plan to host surfers at some point, but I currently don't have space in my college apartment. I plan to continue to travel and use CSing to meet people and see the world!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed with three separate hosts in San Francisco.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I met this wonderful girl who is my love and a wonderful person to travel with:)
I visited Castro where, as a lesbian, I felt totally comfortable. I also saw quite a few naked men;)
I visited Glen Park in San Francisco where I saw the most beautiful sights and first fell in love with the city.
I've been to New York City several times and have seen the city from a local's point of view.
I am now living in Amsterdam and hoping to be considered a local by the time I leave. I hate pulling out my map while riding around on my bike, but at least I am finding the places I want to go. I cannot wait to further explore this city!
