About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To spend my life sharing culture and friendship with people from all different nooks and crannies of the world

ABOUT ME

I love to dance (salsa, ballet, hip hop, merengue, anything at all) and sometimes need a good solo dance party to get myself motivated. I like to read and cook even though I don´t do it enough and am very social. (Don´t be fooled though, cooking is not my strong point). I can be shy at first but once I get comfortable I enjoy good conversations with friends and strangers and I consider myself a very open, willing-to-share, and happy-to-listen kind of person. I love learning new languages and am excited to start a new one! (Any suggestions?) I like meeting new people and seeing what I can learn from others.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life with no regrets. I don´t believe in looking back and wondering if I should or shouldn´t have done something.
I believe in accepting yourself so that you can accept others.
I think that the most important thing you can do in your life is to continue learning so that you can share your experiences, knowledge, and abilities with others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed and attended events through CS. I would love to host and have offered to host in the past but currently I am unable to. I just moved in to a new apartment in Chicago and will need to break in the new roomies to the idea.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had great experiences couchsurfing! I will always remember the first time I surfed in Edinburgh, Scotland and how comfortable our host, Jason, made us feel.

Interests

As I said before, I love DANCING! I´m always interested in learning local, traditional styles and love going out to dance a little bit of salsa! I also enjoy listening to music, cooking, reading, walking-hiking, learning new languages, and wine!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love teaching people how to dance! I´ve been a dance teacher for about 6 years now and love to see people learn how to move! :) I also like helping people with either English or Spanish!

I would love to learn how to play music or to cook! I would also love to learn about other languages and cultural traditions!
