ABOUT ME

My life has been one big Kurt Russell-level escape from my student loans. It's an endless search for the best taco joint and hiking trail. I'm always trying to have the greatest time of my life, and generally desiring to experience as many things as possible.

Grew up in Texas and Kansas. Taught English in Spain. Worked in Australia and New Zealand. Now I'm finishing my Masters at Queen's University in Belfast.

PHILOSOPHY

Existential dread. Semiotic give and take; the more I talk the less sense I make. That's why I think I tend to listen more these days.

One of my favorite parts about couchsurfing is the gastronomy. I love getting to try all the weird, delicious, crazy things different people eat. Other than that, book exchanges rule, guitar, intercambios, etc etc.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A poem for your fridge, minimal impact on your life, and interest in your hobbies. Otherwise, I can dice an onion or sautee veggies like it's nobody's business.
