About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find what I already have

ABOUT ME

I am an artist, and I've completed a BFA at Concordia University in Montreal. Since graduating in 2013 I've strayed away from art but I'm coming back into it now which feels so great but also so hard. I'm searching for a balance between the euphorically mundane, and the generically transcendent aspects of life.

I can be shy at first, but despite that, I am open to new experiences and meeting new people. At my core I am very compassionate, optimistic, and low-maintenance. I pride myself in being a creative type and that aspect of me expresses itself in a plethora of ways. I am fairly lazy so it normally comes out in the form of meandering and 'deep' conversations rather than laborious studio manifestations. Ideal topics for conversations includes anything listed in my 'interests' section.

I am clean and will act respectfully to you and your home.

Additionally, I'm an INFP, Sagittarius Sun, Capricorn Rising, and Gemini Moon.

I'm looking forward to meeting you!

PHILOSOPHY

I have philosophy that patience leads to understanding which leads to acceptance which leads to peace and love. That is why I start with patience everyday. Understanding is the key to everything. peace is possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Took a trip down the west coast of the US in Nov/Dec 2013. That was my first time really utilizing this website. I met so many wonderful humans, the entire experience was life changing. Benefitting firsthand from the kindness and compassion of strangers was so profoundly inspiring, and gave me such a hopeful perspective towards the world. I really love how this is a global community coming together to share, teach, and learn from each other. Here knowledge is accessible to all, and it's done on the grounds of peace, and mutual admiration. Kindness compels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love whales and every encounter I have with them is sublimely perfect.

I worked on a small dairy farm in Metchosin and the scenery there is mindbendingly powerful. I feel so placed here among the sea, the sky, the stars, the mountains, the fog, and the pastures.

I've met Yoko Ono, a hero of mine.

I've also met Cat Power, and we had a powerful connection. She also winked at me mid-song, and that was after we intensely held hand and eyes. I met her behind the venue too. not to brag or anythinggggg

And seeing Beyoncé on my birthday at the Staples center was pretty phenomenal as well.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love too, that this concept is based on an exchange of something other than money. Every relationship is unique and I think they should develop in their own way. There are so many possibilities of how we can support each other and increase the amount of goodness in our collective lives. I don't always know what form the exchange will take but, storytelling, and/or cooking, and/or a creative collab is always a wonderful start.

we can exchange words and learn something new by listening to a new perspective.

OR, if there's a cow around I can show you how to milk it.
