Hi! I'm from Canada but I've been attending university in Australia for the past 3 years and soon going to be teaching English is Shanghai. I have been brought up travelling my whole life with both my parents being big travellers. I love meeting people from all over, getting to know different cultures and lifestyles. We have hosted many couch surfers at my moms place when I was living back home so if you look up "Lina Chen" in the members search you can find some references that include me as for having my own couchsurfing profile is new to me. :) We have also hosted a few exchange students growing up, so when I have more space in my apartment I will be excited to host many couchsurfers and hopefully in the future exchange students!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The whole concept of what goes around comes around. It's great to be able to help international people out when you're at home, sorta like travelling while staying put because you're still learning about their stories and opinions on their home countries etc.. It's also great to be able to be helped while travelling, it makes things so much more interesting when you're meeting a local!

following a pack of 8 lions in the Nairobi national park was a pretty spectacular site along with going to a world cup soccer game in Brazil!
