Bohemian spirit. Longtime vegetarian. Periodic digital nomad. Work freelance because I like the work-life balance. Peacebuilding technical specialist for NGOs/UN is my profession. Started blogging and working on setting up my own project about peacebuilding. I’m a capoeirista; travel with instruments. Health nut. Fitness = capoeira, jump rope, running, stretching, calisthenics.

Easy going. Love to see new places and meet wonderful people. When I visit new places I usually enjoy just walking around. It is nice to see some famous spots sometimes, but that isn't why I love to travel. There are so many other reasons indeed.

I consider myself very fortunate to have met some incredible people on couchsurfing and am pleased for continued opportunities surf with, travel and host those good people from the couchsurfing global community.

I am an old school Couchsurfer who took a hiatus cuz I lived in remote places, etc. Happy to be back.

I read whenever I can and about all kinds of stuff. I usually read books on Peace, social justice, sociology, philosophy, world religions, politics, culture, history, etc. I always have new interests and things to read.
