ABOUT ME

My partner and I are in our mid-20s. We are easy going, love to meet new people and go on adventures. We love to hike and take photographs/see and learn interesting things. We are both grounded and fairly politically minded. Taylor is a farmer/agricultural worker by trade and Teresa is a social worker. We are also both vegan, and love to cook vegan food for people.

PHILOSOPHY

Taylor- Farming and homesteading is a passion and a driving force. Learning how to grow food and produce household items. Fun, practical and important in our changing times.

Teresa- Passionate about social justice issues. Devotes time and energy towards women's issues. Personal philosophy is that situations are not black and white, that graciousness goes a long way.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have hosted and surfed in the past. Looking to reinvest after a hiatus.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Teresa has only hosted in her old Seattle homes. She enjoyed meeting new people from around the world and showing them her favorite parts of the city. Taylor surfed while travelling in NZ. Both have met lots of great people.

We like to hike, cook, read, and Teresa always enjoys a good tea party.
Taylor is interested in sustainable agriculture, learning different aspects of growth. Learning about seed saving is a new and exciting interest for him.

Teresa is interested in working towards ending inequality and oppression.

Teresa likes most kinds of music, except the kinds that scream and Taylor is into hard core, punk, surf rock and more. Taylor's favorite authors are Wendell Berry, Jack London, Craig Childs and Noam Chomsky. Teresa's favorite authors are INcite Women of Color Against Violence, bell hooks and more.

We both love to cook, and would share food and recipes. Taylor has farming and mushroom foraging experience he is happy to share. Teresa is a social worker, and is willing to share about methods & politics of U.S. social work, activism and non-profits. Teresa also ends up being a counseling ear to many people, if you feel like talking about stuff going on in your life, I am happy to non-judgmentally listen.
