ABOUT ME

Currently a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer serving in the Inhambane Province, Mozambique until August 2014. I am interested in international development in the areas of program design, research, and management. My current assignment has me focused on health and nutrition components within various projects, ranging between conservation agriculture, community mobilization within the health sector, organizational development and child support/development. I would be interested in continuing this work upon the completion of my volunteer service.

As graduate from the University of Pittsburgh I have a working knowledge of research skills and am able to communicate information both orally and through writing. I am a person who likes to work in areas where I can make a difference. I am a helpful person who has a drive, an ambition, and an unrelenting desire to see this world become a better place. With my various work and volunteer experiences I have had the opportunity to work with people of all ages, from various backgrounds. I truly enjoy working with people and feel that both teamwork and communication are the key skills to complete any task.
