CURRENT MISSION
To spread love and laughter to the farthest reaches of the universe! As of March 2019, I'm officially a certified laughter yoga teacher, and I'd be SO honoured to share the medicine of laughter with anyone whose path crosses mine. Learning how to laugh again saved my life, and I'm so humbled and grateful for this gift of joy! When we heal, the world around us heals, and god knows, we need it!

While I'm not looking for a place to stay, I'd love to meet some amazing people and get a better understanding of what life in Bengaluru is all about! I love to visit temples, sing kirtan, go play in the market, attend laughter groups, and everything else under the sun!

ABOUT ME

Since I hit the road a handful of years ago, I haven't been able to stop! This world never ceases to amaze me. I'm a pretty easygoing human being! Learning to go with the flow has been a great feat of mine, but thankfully, over the years, I've discovered that great things happen when they're least expected!

I'm currently on a big, beautiful journey of self, learning to love myself, to follow my heart, and express gratitude at every turn!

For the animal lovers: I'm a proud mother of an Adventure Cat! In less than a year, Wakiya's visited 4 Canadian provinces, 18 U.S. states, and Ecuador! Alas, she couldn't make it to India. Maybe next time!

While abroad, I'm looking for friendly faces and adventure. I long for a sense of community in strange places, whatever form it comes in.

I'm looking forward to hosting again when I return home!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed a handful of times and would love to surf more! I've met up with many surfers/hosts in their cities just to grab drinks or explore the city together.

Stood alongside the Lakota people to defend treaty rights and fight for clean water.
Taught English in Turkey.
Hitchhiked through the Balkans.
Drove through the backroads of Central America, over wooden bridges and through rivers without crashing (or dying)!
