Hello! I’m Taylor, an American who is currently teaching English in the southern most part of Japan, Kagoshima! It's a beautiful place, full of nature, volcanos and islands. I've been here for almost 4 years now working on the JET program as English Teacher. I love meeting new people, traveling and learning languages! I am currently working towards getting qualifications for proficiency in Japanese and hope to continue to work in the international field beyond the JET program. I am also a big foodie and love eating new foods and going to delicious restaurants. I have a few of my favorite here in Kagoshima, so if you come by i'd be more than happy to introduce you to some of them!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Briefly lived and worked in the small rural town of Ilam in foothills of the Nepali Himalayas. Saw of some the most gorgeous scenery i will ever see in my life as well as met some of the most genuine and kind people i will ever meet in my life.
