Right now figuring out how, and if, we will survive a Dutch winter. This preoccupies every waking moment. Distractions welcome!

All right I'll have another go.
Andrew: unusually laid-back. Seriously, it takes a lot to get to him. A dreamer and practical thinker. Kind and funny and positive, and endlessly accommodating.
Me: eccentric, frenetic, curious, creative, always looking for a new challenge, always working on a project, a do-er (which is why I'm writing this and not Andrew!). I'd like to think I'm kind too, and I like making people laugh.

We are both firm believers that you make your own luck. We're not fans of doing things because that's what other people do, unless you've thought about it and it actually, truly does make you happy.

So far only with friends, us on their couches and them on ours. Happy days!

Interessen

Laughing. Music (making and listening), concerts, sport (kayaking/surf-ski racing, athletics, Aussie football), traveling, great conversation, making things happen, new and unusual situations, change, enlightened culinary experiences, getting dressed up (that's just Mandy!) and hitting the town, boutique and exotic beer and wine. Andrew has a disturbing interest in beards, particularly his own, in its many manifestations. Cities. Nature. Animals. People watching. Me time.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Traveled around Australia in a caravan for two years. Skinny-dipped in the garden of Eden (Northern Territory, Australia)! Swam in a 1km deep disused mine full of ground water in the middle of the desert in the middle of the night, just to get cool. Taught and lived in the outback, the tropics and Sydney Harbour.
Experienced - 52 degrees (Celsius) while snowmobiling and husky-sledding in Lapland, Sweden.
