About Me

I can describe myself as being a free-spirited person always looking forward to live new adventures, meeting new people, travelling to different places and discovering new cultures. I am driven by fierce curiosity and willingness to learn. I always try to look at things from a positive point of view. I consider myself as a global citizen.

I'm very easy going and accept different types of thougths and cultures. Since I've already lived in France and Denmark and shared common spaces with people from different backgrounds and cultures, I believe couchsurfing would be a chill experience for me. I've had a pleasant time while living with people from other countries.

I'm very into art, foreign languages, new cultures, music, books, gastronomy, fashion, trips, fitness, movies, series and history.

Currently, I work as a Lawyer in Brazil and take a postgraduate course in Diplomatic Studies.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I really appreciate the concept of it. I'm a highly communicative person and I believe it would be a good way of getting to know new people and exchanging experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

I absolutely love Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Rolling Stones, U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Aerosmith, Amy Winehouse, Queen, Nirvana... (I'm a Rock 'n Roll person, I gotta say haha) but I also enjoy Shakira, Rihanna, Tupac, Biggie, Drake, Madonna, Michael Jackson and others.

My favorite movies are: The Intouchables, The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Moulin Rouge, The Fabulous Destiny of Amélie Poulain, Into the Wild and Inglorious Bastards.

My favorite books are: The Picture of Dorian Gray, from my favorite author Oscar Wilde and The Catcher in the Rye, from J.D. Salinger.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In September 2016, I've moved to Paris to study French language and Civilisation in the Sorbonne Université (Cours de Civilisation Française de la Sorbonne), living there until February 2017. This experience was extremely enriching for me, since it developed my ability to live and study with people from multiple cultures and backgrounds, while improving my language skills and knowledge of a new culture. While in there, I've also been able to study Art, French History and Literature, falling in love for these subjects ever since. Even though I haven't lived in Paris for a long period of time (only 5 months), it was definitely a dream come true and an experience that did a huge job in turning me into the person that I am today.

In August 2018, I've been a bridesmaid for a very good friend of mine, in Russia. The ceremony took place in a russian orthodox church, and it was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seem in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

Since I'm taking a postgraduate course in Diplomatic Studies, it would be great to share my knowledge of world history, geopolitics, foreign policies and just overall culture with anyone who's interested. As I've spent a fair amount of time in France and Denmark, I can also share something about the culture of these countries.

I also have some experience in teaching English, so it can be interesting if someone is trying to learn it. I would happily offer my help.

Since I'm a huge fan of spirits, drinks and gastronomy, I'm into learning how to make cocktails and how to cook food from different cultures. I can guarantee a great "caipirinha" in return ;) I'm also into learning new languages.

I would gladly share my love for art, music, movies, gastronomy, series, trips and for the french "joie de vivre" (which includes sharing some bottles of wine and some cheese).
