ABOUT ME

I'm a very adventurous individual seeking to expand my horizons while i'm spending my semester in Berlin. I've used couch surfing several times in my life and have been so happy with my experiences that i'd love to meet more fellow couch surfers and have some more adventures!!

PHILOSOPHY

Memento Mori- remember your Mortality. Basically, take advantage of every moment you have while you're alive and well.

I've been couchsurfing several times, had life changing, awesome, amazing experiences, and hope to have an apartment to host a few travelers while i'm living in Berlin!

Interests

I love traveling (na klar), snowboarding , surfing, running, hiking, Art History/ studying art, being creative, exploring new places, eating lots of food, and listening to good music.
I also enjoy drinking good beer / wine and exploring the bars and clubs. Why not!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Classic Rock like Led Zeppelin, The Kinks, Pink Floyd, etc.; Indie rock like the Shins, Bright Eyes, The Black Keys, etc; Folky music like Devendra Banhart and Fleet Foxes, and, well, a lot of different music! My taste changes week by week, but my current taste has been Ty Segall and Mac de Marco. And violent femmes.
Books: a couple I like are 1984, A Clockwork Orange, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, running with scissors, extremely loud and incredibly close, white oleander + many more. currently reading memoirs of a geisha.
Movies: too many to choose, but definitely Donnie Darko, Amelie, the Departed, Eternal Sunshine, Lost in Translation, Pulp Fiction, American Beauty, Her, Darjeeling Limited, Se7en, Girl Interrupted, and the Graduate are some of my favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

White Water rafting was pretty amazing; quite the experience. Getting propelled through the water by dolphins in Mexico was pretty amazing too. Those were two that came to mind.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am very interested in learning all I can from others. I love learning about culture, language, and art. I can share what I've learned and my experiences so far in this life!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a good laugh, horror film recommendations, random art historical and scientific facts, and (if you're lucky) my mom's famous macaroni and cheese recipe
