About Me

Hello there, I am Tbel Abuseridze, from Georgia (country), born in Batumi, Adjara.

I am studying in the US right now and will be here for more than 4 years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Simply because I love foreigners (not only) who can share their cultural experience and knowledge they've got. In short, my belief is that if the whole world starts to couchsurf, we could achieve peace a little faster.

Interests

I love Philosophy, taking pictures, even though I don't have a decent camera, but still. Besides hiking, my beloved hobby is astronomy, I adore deep space objects, and talking about it, sharing information and of course, I love taking pictures of a Deep space object. I've got my own little telescope, which I take with me while hiking, almost most of the time.

Music, Movies, and Books

Well, "evolution in music" was like this,

I started listening to music from age of 6, my father first turned on Viktor Tsoy, Akvaryum and DDT on a vinyl player, since then I listen to music, especially rock, then I've been listening to Beatles, Scorpion, and bands like that. Then my taste has changed a little bit, since sixteen, I've been listening to Metal. Especially Symphonic black metal (Carach Angren for instance) folk metal (Ensiferum, Equilibrium) and right now, I am the huge metal fan.

P.S Roger waters - Pros and Cons of hitchhiking.

HUGE UPDATE: Even though I still love all the music mentioned above, nowadays I mostly stick with a classical music (J.S. Bach my favorite) and a Jazz (from Art Blakey to Glen Miller)

Currently, I am studying great books at St. John's college and my interest in books is pretty wide starting from the ancient Greek philosophy, math, literature, astronomy (Liberal arts) to the modern day arts and sciences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the August of 2014, I met a guy while hitchhiking, he picked up me with a car. Then he stopped and drank a lot. Guess who drove the car, ME.

P.S I don't have a driving license.
