ABOUT ME

I like to travel and live in new places, meet new people, try new things, like all of us here. I'm an easy going person. I enjoy meeting new people who are different than me, I like to get and share a different perspective on things and I think it's important as well. Graduated from the University of Utah . Moved to Rwanda for a couple years and now in the Bay Area, San Jose! Any time I'm not at work I'm on my feet doing something outdoors or involving fitness.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Started in 2010 when I lived in Russia/Ukraine, became a highlight of travel for me. Now, meeting/surfing/hosting as much as I can, I can't get enough, so if you're nearby, shoot me an email, yeah?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Never had a bad experience with a host or guest or a meetup, and even beyond that, my interactions with couch surfers is often a highlight of the trip. It's great to think about memories of seeing things and doing things in a new city, but even better to remember friendships made while doing those things in my opinion.

Interessen

I love music, any kind really, dancing, sports, art, camping/hiking/backpacking and anything in nature, making friends, travelling, cooking, and on and on. I'm always up for new things I haven't tried and don't believe in saying "no" to many opportunities or experiences.

Music: all of the above, especially enjoy something to dance to with a good beat
Movies: comedies and documentaries are my favorites
Books: Bio's and non fictional

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I try to be as well rounded as I can so I can have some input on any topic as well as take advantage of anything I can experience in my life.
Teach: I know a lot about camping and outdoor stuff, especially in the western US, and can share some of my travel experiences/tips, languages that I know
Learn: I have an open mind and appreciate people who can share something I didn't know before
Share: plenty of travel and backpacking tips

I'll be a gracious guest and if possible I'd like to cook some food. Several years TEFL experience too if you want English help.
